2016 - oil and gas lease site
The place of one of the sites that Williams purchased. After this purchase, she was told she could no longer continue her job as a professor at the University of Utah, and fell into a spiral of confusion and depression.

Brooke and Williams gathered with residents and their students to protest lease sales on public lands during a land auction. After protests are disrupted, Williams finds herself staying at the auction and buying two oil and gas leases.

A site between two places of excavation for oil and dinosaur bones.

Tar sands in Alberta, Canada were also found to increase cancer in its residents, especially in First Nation communities.
2015 - Book Cliffs
Where the first tar sand mines under construction were. The operation used copious amounts of water that Utah could not supply given the environment.
2015 - Vernal
Williams and others travel to Vernal as a part of a project. Vernal was one of the cities visited in efforts to examine Utah communities who relied on fossil fuel development.

Williams crosses the Nevada State Test Site line and is arrested for trespassing on Military lands. She is brought to Tonopah, Nevada and then released
1971 - Utah
Williams's mother dies of breast cancer. Williams cannot prove that this is because of the atomic bomb tests, but all signs point to this factor.

Williams travels to Alaska and witnesses the effects of climate change on polar bears and Alaskan citizens; the drastic reduction in polar bear numbers and even loss of workplaces for residents.
